The DeskCycle and the DeskCycle2 were specifically designed to be used at home or in the office. To ensure it will fit under low desks, we gave the DeskCycle the lowest pedal height of any commercial exercise bike currently available, we also included the same patented magnetic resistance mechanism as in our top-end mini exercise bike "MagneTrainer". This ensures a smooth and whisper-quiet operation. The smooth quiet magnetic pedal motion is healthy for your joints and will not disturb your co-worker's many inexpensive bikes use friction resistance which is noisy often producing a jerky cycling motion that can jolt the joints and be distractive. DeskCycle has the same patented magnetic resistance system as our MagneTrainer but is designed in a much lower profile to fit under a table or desk. The quality engineered machine will provide years of operation. At the lowest resistance level, it takes little effort to pedal it while the upper level can be quite challenging. The pedal motion is bidirectional, which means you can pedal it forward as well as in reverse enabling you to work opposite muscle groups. DeskCycle has large pedals with adjustable Velcro straps and eight calibrated resistance levels. You will have access to an online calculator on the DeskCycle website which factors in age, weight, and gender to give you additional analysis of your workouts. Note that the distance between the floor and the bottom of the desk should be at least 68cm. Tall people can sit slightly back should the desk and long legs combination impede cycling.
